Payment Options
At Life Long Wellness, we want our entire community to have access to affordable natural healthcare that doesn’t cut corners on quality. That’s why we accept a variety of payment options; chiropractic insurance, automobile accident insurance, attorney case liens, self-pay rates, and package discounts. Everyone deserves to have a healthy body, and it’s our goal to make that as easy as possible.
We accept AMEX, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa along with Cash, Venmo, and even Bitcoin.
Health Insurance
Our practice accepts many health insurances. Chiropractic is a commonly covered benefit, however acupuncture is rarely covered. We are in-network with many of the common insurances in our area, including Aetna, Cigna, GEHA, BCBS, DMBA, Medicare, UHC, UMR, UofU, SelectHealth. For In-network policies, our team files claims on your behalf, and we strive to get you the most out of your benefits.
We kindly ask that you bring your insurance card and ID to your first visit so that our team can verify the benefits of your policy. Being In-Network, doesn’t mean that our services are covered. It depends on what policy you or your employer contracted.
Insurance billing is called a Fee-for-Service structure, which simply means that we send your insurance company a code for every procedure that is perfomed during your visit. This system is established by the American Medical Association and applies to any healthcare provider in the US who bills insurance. It documents to the insurance company exactly what procedures have been performed. You are responsible for any deductible and copayment amounts, as determined by your contract with your insurance company.
Car Accidents
Billing for car accident cases is similar to health insurance billing, but in most cases there is no out-of-pocket expense to you. We take care of sending bills and records to your automobile insurance. If you have an attorney, we may consider treating a patient on an attorney case lien. This will be reviewed by our team on a case-by-case basis. Some members of our staff have been in the unfortunate circumstance of being involved in an accident. We highly recommend you consider a good attorney to help with the process. We know some amazing attorneys who are qualified to help – we would be happy to make a referral if needed.
Self-Pay
Our fees are the lowest allowed by law! Because we are in-network with Medicare, we are bound by government regulation that medicare fee schedule rates must always be the lowest price offered in our clinic for any given fee. We have set our fees to the lowest legal rate to help more people in our community have access to quality care. We post our fees here so you know what to expect. Our prices are far lower than the average in our area and we encourage you to research for yourself.
